When we launched this brand-new fundraiser, we thought it would simply be a fun way for our community of animal lovers to celebrate their pets while raising a little extra support for animals in need. Instead, what followed completely exceeded anything we could have imagined.
Over the past few weeks, we've watched thousands of people come together to share stories, celebrate beloved pets, rally behind rescue animals, and most importantly, help raise vital funds for vulnerable animals who urgently need care and protection.
Before we announce our winners, we want to say a massive thank you for helping us raise a life-changing $1.95M for animals in need.
Your Support in Action
Every vote, every share, and every act of support has helped make a real difference for animals arriving at our shelters every single day—animals needing urgent veterinary treatment, safe shelter, rehabilitation, and a second chance at life.
Your generosity is what makes rescues like Cotton Tail possible. Cotton Tail and five other dogs were recently rescued from terrible conditions—confined to cramped pens with no fresh air, natural light, food, or water. Suffering from severe neglect, malnutrition, and untreated medical conditions, they desperately needed a lifeline.
Within hours of their rescue, these dogs received the immediate care they had been deprived of for so long: nutritious food, veterinary treatment, and gentle compassion. Today, we are incredibly happy to share that after patient rehabilitation from our shelter teams, every one of these dogs has been rehomed into a loving family.

Stories like Cotton Tail's are the reason your support matters so deeply. Rescues like these, and the long roads to recovery that follow, are only possible because of your generosity and compassion.
Just since the voting began, more than 2,700 animals have arrived into our care across New South Wales and Victoria alone. Thanks to the overwhelming support shown through this campaign, we are able to continue providing the lifesaving care they depend on.
While there can only officially be a handful of winners in the competition itself, we truly feel this campaign became something much bigger than that. It became a celebration of just how deeply people love their pets, and how willing our community is to step forward to help animals in need.
For a first-ever campaign, we have been incredibly humbled by the response. We are so grateful to everyone who participated, supported, voted, shared, and donated along the way.

Best Rescue Winner
Since being adopted as a puppy from our rescue friends at the Lost Dogs Home in 2023, Bella has been bringing endless joy to her family with her gentle nature and signature wriggly bottom! She is a true socialite who loves attending dog park BBQs, playing with her furry friends, and soaking up cuddles. When she isn't busy putting a smile on everyone's face, you can usually find this affectionate girl enjoying a delicious puppuccino.
Cutest Dog Winner
This little show-stopper has been melting hearts since she was an 8-week-old pup! With her black coat, adorable silver face, and signature "poodle prance," Astra is pure cuteness. But she's also incredibly smart, using her pet talking buttons to communicate when she wants to play, she loves chasing bubbles and knows an impressive list of nearly 20 different commands ranging from "balance" to "cuddle"!
Cutest Cat Winner
This adorable girl was famously rescued from a stormwater drain using a brilliant, MacGyver-style contraption of a cat carrier, rope, and tuna! Although her rescuer already had two cats and had no intention of adding a third to the mix, this little survivor had other plans. Doris Joan Webster instantly won her hero's heart and became a permanent member of the family!

Cardi has been her owner's whole world since she was just six weeks old, and this December, this girl is getting ready to celebrate her big 6th birthday! More than just an adorable companion, Cardi is her human's ultimate inspiration, daily motivation, and comforting safe space.

This distinguished gentleman has completely upgraded his life from racing to pure luxury! Now a beloved family member, Baz spends his retirement enjoying plush beds, yummy treats, and non-stop love from his Mamma.
