"Zoey, our 13yo Nanna, was neglected for the first 8yrs. Zoey had a stage 4 luxating patella, due to the neglect. We adopted her when she was 9. We saw her and immediately needed to adopt her. Before we could bring her home she had to have surgery. The rescue raised $$ for surgery, and 2 months later we adopted her. Zoey is now able to walk, run, play. Zoey has always been, despite her past, an absolutely loving girl. She just wants to be with you at all times getting love. She's absolutely spoilt (as she deserves to be)"
